Yummy cookies! I made lingerie cookies for Crystal. She hosted a bachelorette party and asked me to make the cutest pantie and bra cookies. Super easy and super cute. There is nothing better than a shortbread cookie with royal icing...I hope the girls liked them Crystal.

This week Trinity and I are designing and decorating her seventh birthday cake which is going to be a rock star theme. We have chosen elements from several different rock star cakes to come up with her own. She has a style of her own you know! This is going to be FUN!

Shooo! Cakes are done and delivered. Things went quite smoothly. I finished the bride's cake Friday evening and even had time to stack the grooms cake. So..it rested in the frig overnight and I was up early Saturday morning to finish. I learned that corn starch works wonders to dry fondant without a whole lot of effort. The groom's cake, by the way, was a "Bud Light Beer" bottle. Jim helped make a major support for the bottle and I used rice treats for the neck.. So what do you think?

This week is cookie week. I am baking and decorating lingerie cookies for a bachelorette party. Too cute! Pictures later!!!

And, the next project is... Jimmy and Erica's wedding cakes. Starting Sunday, baking and making... I'm excited to get started! The bride's cake will be 4 tiers, 3 flavors, white butter cream, black scrolls, black band around each tier and red roses scattered around. And all thou, this cake has the same colors as the Crane cake it will be totally different. The groom's cake will be one flavor covered with fondant..this one is going to be fun! I will not be posting again until after the delivery! Say a little prayer! Thanks...

This is the first opportunity I have had to post anything...I was really busy last week baking and making and finally on Thursday I actually started decorating the cakes and worked until time to deliver on Saturday. (I did sleep a few hours) Here it is, four tiered hexagon design with black scrolls and flowers with crimson beads. I was really tired when I finished but it was so worth it. I am pleased with the way both cakes turned out. And from what I hear everyone at the reception loved them. John (the groom) called me the day after and told me they had all kinds of compliments on the cakes..GOOD TO HEAR! Now on to the next project!
